The environmental program got started in 1998 under an ANA grant and later switched over to an Environmental Protection Agency grant that funds it to this day.
We have been involved in community and youth outreach starting in 1999 and continuing to this present date. The environmental program has evolved over the years to include two other additions to make us complete, the Water Quality Specialist program and Water / Bio Terrorism program.
Arizona Indian Gaming Association represents nine tribes representing Indian People living on reservations in Arizona. While four tribes are located near urban areas, most tribal lands are located in rural areas of Arizona.
